Maula84 - My First WIPs

Hi,
Just started doing customs, and this is my third figure. I don't have pictures of the other ones yet, will post them when I have the chance.

For my third custom, I decided to go with Constrictor. I fell in love with the character during The Initiative (Siege), and since I recently bought a Taskmaster figure, I thought: "why not". It's a Marvel Legend's Wonderman, with sanded hair. The detail on the body was made with some ceramic putty and glue, for more security. I still need to add the detail on the boots, prime and paint. And deal with the horrible paint rub (I always have problem with this part of customizing). Feel free to comment or if you have any advice, I'm all ears.

The head I'd paint whilst it is on the figure, I was talking more about opening the body of the figure, then painting all the joints, shoulders, hips and ab. My newer customs now have next to no paint rub whatsoever. It is a bit of a pain to open the whole thing up but I actually find it quicker than trying to do it whilst all in one piece but like I said that's just me. Other people might know a better method.

Hi,
Do you put it back together with boil&pop or with the hairdryer? My first custom, I painted and the put the head back on, but some of the paint rubbed off because of the heat and had to repaint it. I guess I'll have to take my chances with sanding

That's looking pretty good man, on the issue of paint rub, I always find it easier to take the figure apart then paint and glue shield the parts that will rub while it's in pieces, thats just me though.
