custom question- clear display bases

Hey all.

So I'm working on a figure (about 1/8th Marvel Legends size) and she is rather heavy with all the sculpting. I would like her main pose to be in the air with her feet titled towards the ground... so what would you recommend? I was thinking some kind of clear pvc dowel- but I'm not really sure where to find or how to construct such a base.

I would prefer it to be clear and unobtrusive, so it doesn't take away from the figure itself.

There's also clear acrylic Drink Stirrers/martini pics that you can use. Floral arrangement card-holder spikes too.

This is going to be hard to explain, but you know the rod that you turn on a mini blind to open or close them? They sell clear plastic replacement ones that if you cut it to the appropriate length it might work. I just don't know what you would use for a base to support the rod.

I use the clear plastic tubes me sculpty comes in , works really well , or soda bottles , if you look under your sink theres all types of clear plastic you can use for a stand if you cut it right .

I'd probably use some bits from an airfix model kit, you know like ones with windows in them. The sprues that all the bits come on can be quite useful.
