painting figures white question.

I've started to use automative spray paint, since it's readily available here in S.Korea at the local mega-stores. 2 or three thin coats, with a days drying time between in a well ventilated area, and it looks great.

Reading the replies, I think I'll definatley use the blue-tac suggestion for masking in the future.

Holy crap Jin is alive I'd just hit it with walmart gray primer and then flat white lol. I wish the white was aprimer. the spray primers make better paint that the non-primers.

My favorite white is now the Formula P3 white. Takes maybe 3 coats to cover even dark areas. However if the base is really dark, it's always good to primer that.

I was looking at the figure and I think it may be better to just spray paint her totally since the clothes and hair are the wrong color anyhow.

id suggest masking and spray paint or using a very thin coats of white, like watered down and painted a few times

try masking the areas you don't want white, then spray away?, use the almighty blu tack!!
