Favorite Painting Tips

Posted in Custom Workstation

I was wondering what peoples favorite painting tips are.
As a lot of people ask me questions about painting, I thought it would be good for people to share tips with each other.

My favorite tip is wet-sanding.
Now I know it's not actually paint applications, but my figures look and feel so much smoother from it.

Here's one I just discovered recently,
Paint the eyes before you paint the rest of the face, that way you don't have to work within a tiny space and it doesn't matter if it's a bit messy because you can clean it up when you paint the rest of the face.

My favorite is dyeing plastic with ink. This makes a great base coat of paint that never comes off.
