Marvel Universe Archangel help

Hi guys, I want to paint a regular Marvel Universe Archangel figure and make it look like the X-Force edition but I know I will have problems painting his lines really straight and clean.
Could anyone give me any tip on painting this type of lines? (Masking, brushes or something...)

I've seen some customs of this guy where they have outlined the silver with black. I think this wood be easier to do than just painting the silver and blue with no spacer.
