Hey Guys, Im not sure if anyone has seen these but the Big Lots in my area carries this line of generic GI Joe figures called Power Team Elite. They always seem to have various vehicles and accesories that I thought would look good with GI Joes given a decent paint job. But last weekend I also noticed they had a couple of Headquarters looking sets. One is a 2 or 3 story building with a few different rooms, stairs and various accesories and the other was a 2 level bunker of some sort. Both of them are cut down the side for easy access and are a good size but I thought they would look cool with some Joes or MU figures and good paint jobs. If I pick one up I will definitely try and post some pics. Later!
The sixth-scale PTE figures are actually pretty good--there's a fair amount of reuse in the accessory department and they tend to have some loose joints in the arms/legs at times, but for the price, they can't be beat. I've written several reviews on them at my site, which you can check out if you want a more in-depth analysis of their pros and cons:
OK. Thats good info! Luckily though its just me and my wife and last I checked she didn't chew on my toys Speaking of the 1/6th scale PTE figures, how is the quality on those? I have one I picked up a few years ago because the Dragon and 21st Century figures were hard to come by and the quality was ok but not great. They always seem to have a good selection of those in the store here.
I only buy the sixth-scale PTE figures and vehicles, but I've seen the smaller 3-3/4" figures at my Big Lots too. One thing to remember--M & C Toy's PTE figure have lead content in them (there's a warning on the package), so I wouldn't recommend buying them for children or if you have pets that chew on toys.
Hey Therapist, The big building was like 30 bucks and the smaller one was 20 or 25.
