Increase length of figure

Posted in Custom Workstation

I found this awesome head I want to place on a Marvel Punisher figure, but the head is from a 7"figure which makes it slightly too large, does anyone have some experience in trying to increase the bulk/length of a figure or is it not worth the trouble and simply look for a 7" body?

lol, yeah I guessed as much, keeping the proportions in tact would be hard, well off to spend some more cash then

It's probably going to be easier to find a new figure. I tried it a few times, and it's really a pain. To keep the correct proportions you have to put extension in the forearms, biceps, thighs, calves, chest abs, and sometimes the pelvis (depending on the figure).

If your going to do it, just keep an eye on the proportions and it should be fine. The last thing you want to do is spend a bunch of time extending a figure only to find that something looks off in the end result.
