I am not criticizing the tut in any way! but I never get the heat and pop. I usually boil. had bad experiences with heat and pop. also I keep a bath of ice cold water close to me do dunk figs. also stops off gassing

That is a reaqlly great tutorial Jin! In my own limited experience, when dealing with larger figures, the hair dryer method doesn't really work as well due to the thickness of the plastic surrounding the joint. I had to use the boil and pop method. Not sure if it's just me but just thought I'd put that out there for anyone wrestling with the big guys.
