No one I know of casts in rubber (some GI JOE accessory sites cast in a flexible plastic, but that's all). In terms of resin, no - DMC casts in (what looks like) Smooth-on brand white liquid plastic. It's solid, and can be dremmeled. When dremmeled, it just produces a white powder that looks like talcum. It's not something you can boil/pop, but sands very well. DMC is a great guy, and I haven't ever had a problem with this work.

You can boil/pop Smooth-on resin, it just needs to be boiled a lot longer than normal plastic.
So if you can't boil and pop how do you get the heads on? Do they already come with the peg holes or do you have to drill yourself? I'm really interested in ordering stuff but just want a little more info before plunking down the money. Are they pretty sturdy?

try DMC direct casting, google to find it, can't put links here for some reason. They offer 6 to 7 inch recast heads or you can try thatsmyface website which you can upload pics of yourself and they will create a head of you in anysize you want! Hope this helps.
