Slime does dry out on its own and become hard/brittle . . . eventually. Not sure how long you'd have to wait, and it's possible the crazy glue might create an air tight seal that would prevent it from ever hardening.
You could try cutting out some dripping slime shapes/splatters out of thin green transparent plastic (a Mountain Dew bottle would be good) with scissors and then globbing on some nail polish and letting that dry to create a shiny transparent green slime effect that you could then glue onto your figure.
I just mixed up a small amount and I think the problem with it is getting it mixed properly. The glue has formed a semi-hard covering on the slime but the insides of the ball I mixed is still slime. I suppose if you tried glueing the slime to the figure and then a coat on top it might work, I think it wouldn't be too durable though.
I`m working on a muckman custom and want it too have mutagen slime and stuff , I seen someone used hot glue to make it but since I havent got a glue gun I was tring to improvise lol
