Transformer joints

Posted in Custom Workstation

Have you ever seen those "clicky" joints that have their dents kind of exposed out, like on an elboy or knee?
How do I paint/treat that to prevent paint rub? Is it impossible?
Thanks again.

Black would probably be your best bet.

Thank you very much. I'm wondering what color should I use for metallic parts... black maybe?

Make a batch of "Rit" dye and soak the pieces that you want to change the color. I'm sure Youtube has vids on the ins and out, rights and wrongs of using dyes.

Dyes? Not familiar with their use, any recommendation?

Try to find figures that match the final colors you want on your figure, Dyes will work or if it is a light color, I understand you can color it with Sharpie markers.
