- and decided I must do an Optimus Prime GL in that style. I really should have commissioned a drawing of Optimus...
Anyhow: Does anyone know of a Transformer figure of Optimus that fits with this smooth style? It doesn't matter to me if it's a 'cybertronian' or 'earth' style Optimus - as long as it's pretty close to this pictures line-style. If nothing like this exists, any suggestions for part swapping?
For the figure, the larger, the better (not quite 20th anniversary Prime size though).
I sent you a link. I think the war for cybertron is good because in the game he has areas that glow red that could also glow a brighter green. I can get you vid and screen caps if you want. plus he's cheap
This figure won't need to transform, so Revoltech the right style, but wrong size. I chatted with Seph' about that, and I think it's too tinywhat I'd want it to be - 7"-12" in size. The Masterpiece scale is too big, and Revoltech is too small. Hum. Still looking for suggestions. This is what I've come up with so far from scouring the net + here:
1.) I keep leaning toward the smaller scale ioGear Prime, but I'm worried that the plastic would feel a little too cheap/light weight. They go for about $100ish on eBay. http://nelman.blogspot.com/2009/08/ig-p ... -mini.html
or...
2.) One of these bust, rearticulated:
+ legs from a Voyager Prime or Ultra Magnus + some resculpting.
Or...
3.) Whatever Prime this is (war for Cybertron Prime?), with a swapped out/resculpted head:
