Adding detail over yellow ?

So if I want to give my figure extra paint detail but the main colour Is yellow how would I paint over it and which colour ? I thought maybe a brown wash ?

Definately good call on the wash. I woul suggest any part thatis going to be brighter after the wash you do a light coat of white after-before drybrushing or repainting the yellow. Saves a lot of time and paint.

Brown and orange both work well. I prefer to use a wash when doing light shades of yellow.
