guys! I hope some one can help me, when I saw the latest trailer for Metal Gear Solid V from this year's E3 I made a big boss head that same day, a head for a 12" figure, so, I bought a chinese body trough ebay, and now I need to get the clothes and all the accessories but I can't find the right clothes with the right camo pattern, heres the trailer for reference:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zvhMqU9QKE

it's the first time I try to make a 12" custom, and it seems to me it wasn't the most clever choice since the character has a lot of stuff on his clothes but I really want to get him done so I hope some one can give me a little hand, thanks in advance

Is there someone who casts Power Rangers parts?

I checked and I found two dead links and removed them. Not including DMC who has kept saying he will be reopening. I know some of the sites haven't made new casts in a while but have not closed down and the site owners still do casting. If you happen to have any new links, I'd be happy to add them!

Hey redrebelcustoms, can you fix the first three links under 3.75" heads if you still have them? They don't work as is, actually quite a few of them are dead links now.

I looked on Glassman's site and he had a Granny Goodness body cast, but it was sold out. Does anyone else know if anyone else had a figure cast for that character in the JLU or 3.75 scale? If in the JLU scale, I can use Glassman's head cast for Goodness though.

Great tutorials Dave! The new ML heads look amazing. I know a few guys on here wete looking for a certain DP head a while back. You seem to have gotten ahold of it somehow. Check out the store guys and I know Dave may take suggestions on heads if you want to place an order. He's a full time caster and customizer.

I started making some videos for casting your own products. First one is the DIY Pressure Pot tutorial. Here I show you what you need to make your own pressure pot.

Next up, I'll be doing a video on prepping your pieces for molding, building the mold box, etc. and of course the actual casting of the parts.

Enjoy!!

Hey, thanks man! I hope to start getting some ML/DCUC stuff molded and cast for the store soon... right now, I have mostly 1:18 stuff for sale.
Not a problem bro! Let me know if you are looking for any heads in particular!

Unfortunately, the DP head you are asking about came from DMC who has closed up shop. That particular head was the third DP head in his inventory when his casting shop was open. As far as Bowen casts, Kyle Robinson did the only one large enough to fit that base body and he seems to be ansent from the customizing scene. This is DMC's cast...

Well, there is the MS if he wants a slightly oversized look. The Bowen heads that I have had all seem to be a better fit for a smaller buck than a Shield Agent, IMHO.

I was hoping maybe someone was casting a good custom DP head or something. I have seen some on customs here that were casts but not from either of the ML Deadpools. I contacted one of the customizers about one of them but he couldn't remember where he got it. -sigh-
it was the one on the ACCustomFigures DP. it would be perfect.

Best if you check this out. Type Deadpool in the first field and Shield Agent or face off Punisher in the second field. Any variation of the figures names will give different results. This site has somewhere just under a thousand DP's. You can actually check how each head looks. Click on one you like and read the recipe. Unless you want to sculpt your own.

In need of a Deadpool head that will fit on a Shield Agent body. Any suggestions?

The series 6 seems to be a little too small and I don't like the look of the HML two pack Deadpool.

PM'd you. Casting accessories seems fairly easy with the lego method. Depending on what you're trying to cast.
I was gonna see if I could find someone to cast an Uruk Hai shield.

Page 2 has links about casting How to's. There are a few youtube videos as well. Easiest way to start would be to buy a kit from a hobby store. Plastic dixie cups, stir sticks, gloves, and a scale capable of measuring grams may be needed. Be sure you have a well ventillated area to work in. For advanced casting you may want to look into a pressure pot or how to convert a paint pot for degassing. For now, a pounding board should work. Be prepared for some trial and error. You will probably have some bubbling. Epoxy works well as a filler. I am not a caster but I will do my best to answer any questions. The kits cost around $30 and will be good for a few casts. I don't recommend starting with clear casts as the extra heat they put off can ruin molds and be more difficult to cure. Definately read at least a few of the tutorials before attempting even though the kits have instructions. The manufacturers of the kits generally will have a website with a video how to. Hope that helped.

So, as the new deadpool figure from hml, I'm planning on using his head for some customs. Now, I don't want to buy a bunch of the figure, so I was planning on casting his head. Now, I don't know if this has been asked before, but I'm new to customizing and I've only recently heard of casting. So... What would I need and How would I do it?

I think they are all 1:18 scale as they all look to be from GI Joes or Marvel U figures.

I'm not sure what scale all of these are in except some are definitely 1:18 and one is 1:6 but they do look like clean casts. This guy dropped by the realm one day and seemingly dissappeared. I shot him a pm but no reply so I decided I'd look him up. Quite a selection here and if some of those are 1:12 as they appear I would order a few. Here's a link and if anyone knows him or has ordered, please LMK.

Update for those customizing Mego figures! Toyfanatics has stopped casting resun heads until further notice. They still carry the accessories. The heads before were not pressure casted and had bubbles. The new heads will be pressure casted and they hope to expand the inventory upon reopening . Thanks.
