I've been looking at the new Neca Crysis figure... its so neat. I haven't picked it up yet, but I've been doing some sketching and think with a little work it would make a great Octocamo suit for an Old Snake figure. Its a little buffer than Snake is the issue though, meaning a 1/12 scale Snake head would be awkward to get just right. Anyone have any suggestions for a Neca scale Solid Snake/Big Boss/Old Snake head?
I actually bought a Sam Fisher recent and have been using his body for a Leon Kennedy custom. Trying to make his RE2 cop uniform... a few little alterations just for functionality.
Anyways, I was looking at Sams head and figured he look rather gruff, after jokingly sculpting on a moustache he actually bears a resemblance that's really not that bad.
It seems like a pretty good figure over all, its resemblance to the Octo Camo suit really appealed to me. I mean despite it being just a little too bulky for Snake, I think it will suffice though.
That thing actually has a silly amount of articulation. (the 6" It pivots and hinges in every direction you can think of. I had to glue the pec/shoulder hinge thingies in place for the X-O manowar I did.
The articulation didn't look too bad to me. I mean be it as it may Neca doesn't have a great standing with articulation. I've been trying to find a decently priced Stunt Man Mike, but man... that is a pricey figure now, Amazon only has them for 30$.
I just want one cause I thought it would be cool but after I saw it in store it didn't have as much articulation as I Was hoping for. Best of luck bro!
