An action figure of yourself?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

If you could have one made... and not like Kyle Robinson custom er anything, I mean an actual sculpt of your self! So what would it be like? As in a super detailed McFarlane style, or an ultra articulated ToyBiz version, or even Hasbro or Mattel! Which would fit your personality or wants?

I'd have to go with a more statue-like figure from McFarlane Toys. If I could have a figure of myself I'd want it to look like me, and I don't think I'd trust anyone else with it.

I'd make my own figure using parts from everything. Haha.

I would want McFarlane to do mine. Articulation wouldn't be much of a concern to me. Just a great looking statue-esque display. I would also prefer to be characterized, instead of just a figure made of me. But that's just me.

Great question
Mine would be the Hasbro Baroness figure wearing jeans and red top. She'd come with a black cat, diet coke can, pencils and a drawing pad. :-P

I would have Mattel make mine in the fashion of the old Muscle Men figures. Then I'd carry around a bunch of them and chuck them at people that piss me off.

NECA with plenty of articulation.... and less chubby.

I'd appreciate a NECA style figure of myself. I love their video game related work because its so detailed and often decently articulated. The sad part is, they could probably get away with just putting a new head Sculpt on the Sam Fisher figure... <.< I wear about the same outfit anytime I'm not at work, and who wants an action figure of me in khakis?

I'd go with Gentle Giant. They do actual facial scans and have great articulation on lines like Hellboy. They also do some of the scans for other companies. Ron Perlman looks way better, or at least like Ron Perlman, than the likeness produced by Mezco. He also had better artic, more accessories, and swappable hands.

I'd like a realistic figure with lots of articulation, but some less realistic accessories.

Hot Toys would be cool, but expensive. I'd say McFarlane Toys, who is capable of making articulated figures(just look at the Halo line). My dream would be base body by Toybiz with the head sculpt and any other sculpt work done by McFarlane. Paint by either.

It was NECA that did the Jimmy Page. McFarlane only did the 3D cover thing of Zep I. But I guess if McFarlane wanted to make an action figure of me I wouldn't say no. They made one of Angus and of Slash so I guess they could do Buzzy.

McFarlane did those too, didn't they? I know Jimmy was because he's in the Spawn store.

Oh yeah, and we want videos of you playing!

Mine would have to be made by the company (can't remember which) that did the AC/DC, Jimmy Page and Kurt Cobain figures (using fake British accent) > Cuz I'm a bloody Rock Star.

Mine would be absolutely non- articulated, with an emphasis on "display only", in fact the term "action", for "Action figure" should be removed, and I would come with a special "swigging" feature and come with pack -ins of

Jack daniels
Carlsberg
Tenant pils
Vodka
Rum
Red wine
Gin
Stela Artois

Oh and for the variant: Coffee.

I'd have to be toybiz. I have lots of poses, and no one else could articulate me well enough to showcase my awesomeness
