HELP - identifying these robot hands from Steampunk IronMan

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi everyone,

I came across this nice looking figure:

I wanted to know if anyone can help identify the hands used, and even the forearms. I see parts of a ML Beetle (shoulderpads) and other odds/ends, but can't quite peg where these are from:

I'd love to know, as I'm in need of some articulated, big robo-hands.

Thanks!

Cool. I've got my eye on one or two on 'the auction site that can't be mentioned at F.R', so I'll let you know. In the meantime, can you PM me your shipping address?

I would probably start with the head and hands. Then do the rest of the arms and possibly the feet.

Hey Finn,

If I can get one via eBay, I'll drop you a PM - maybe have it shipped directly to you, if could get the original + a set of the parts sent to me afterward. I'd assume you know how to properly disassemble the figure without descimating it, right?

That would be fantastic! I've done this a bunch of times Mecha Hulk won't get messed up, no worries. Just let me know when you wanna do it. I'm ordering a fresh batch of molding stuff, so I'm game whenever your ready.

Cast which parts? I may be able to get ahold of one for casting purposes!

Ahh! That's right - the TF tank Hulk. I have (had?) that back in my parts collection in Canada. I don't know if I sold it with a bunch of my other unused fodder or not at a Toy Con' back in April tho. Hum.

Thanks for everyone's input.

In the meantime, I've discovered two alternate sources of giant, articulated, robot hands - one's through a person using shapeway.com's 3D printing process, and the other had modified recasts of various TF and large Gundam hands. I'd post links, but I wouldn't want the thread to be locked/deleted by admins. : PM me if you're in need of the URLs.

I still might try and find a Mecha hulk AND another pair of hands from the Hulk tank. They look great.

They are Hulk Mega Morph hands! You know the hulk transformer that turns into a tank! Great use of the hands and all the parts! Anything else about the figure, I studied it pretty well! I own one of his customs! Steampunk Thor. Packrat does some creative work.

Actually pock I don't think they are from mecha hulk, that was my first guess too, but the thumbs are different.

Those are the Hands from a Mecha Hulk figure.

some other large articulated robot hands that might be good for what you are looking for are hulkbuster iron man hands and baf sentinal hands.

Isn't that from an Optimus Prime?
