cloaks, capes, and hoods?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I want to make a raven spawn. and was thinking that a good base to start with would be a black panther and maybe a ghost rider head. if anyone has a good hood/cloak tutorial so that I could keep as much articulation for the head as possible please tell me.

the hood looks a lot like magneto's helmet, why don't you use that?

Your best bet would be to sculpt the hood on the head separate from the body (ala Desaad from DCUC). I usually use some blue painters tape on the body of my figures when I sculpt long hair or something like this to keep the sculpt from sticking to the body.

I've never seen a Raven Spawn so I'm not sure if this helps, but I have a Azrael hood if that would work. Like I said though, not sure if the hoods are even remotely similar.
