Ice man leg gears?! Need some help.

So , I told shap I could help him with his ice man legs which were super floppy. When I got it I realized it was missing the pice the gears go into!? Now, I thought I had a spare on laying around to throw in with modification ( if it was to big to small) but I don't? The only thing I can think of to gig it is to cut a pice of foamy make sure it pushes agents the gear to make them snug and then liberally apply crazy glue to harden acting as a pressure plate?
any better ideas would be appreciated.

Hmm good to know, since this I went ahead and did the foamy. It works well. It works extremely well. Now over time it may degrade. We will have to see. The issue now is the parts at some point were modded in some way and don't meet evenly :[ so I need to put sculpt on it.
But I will have to try both the spare plastic and the hvac tape.

Also it's razor sharp and can give you a nasty "paper cut".
I have no idea what you're talking about and I've never gotten one ...... but technically they're metal cuts and they do hurt like a b%&ch.

I wrap the post in aluminum foil tape (hvac tape) to create friction between the post and the hole. Electrical tape should work to but that might shred a bit. The tape has come in handy a few times. It's really tough (it is metal afterall) and extremely sticky. A wise $8 investment.

I take it you mean the bit that goes in the middle (between the two leg pegs) is missing? I had to tighten this bit on darthV2, all I did was use a piece of the leg I cut down and forced it in between the two pegs before gluing it all together. I think the Foamy idea could degrade pretty quick.
