A second life for an old figure (a custom, not mine)

I'm a long-time fan of many things from the 1980s, including TRON. I grew up watching it on VHS when VHS was just starting out. When TRON: Legacy came out, I was there in the theater and enjoyed every minute of it (feeling that it was a sequel truly worthy of the TRON name, though it disregarded the events of the TRON 2.0 game).

Well, I'm signed up as a user over at the TRON-Sector forums and I was surprised when I found out about this custom performed by another user there. The custom started its life as the Warrior action figure from the old TRON line, which met with an unfortunate accident when it was encountered by the user's dog when he was little. But after seeing what he did with it, I was surprised and amazed by it, giving this figure he grew up with a second life as a TRON: Legacy-style figure.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured I'd post it here since there wasn't much info on where to post about other people's customs by users who are not of FigureRealm. So, here's the link.
