Found a Pit Fighter Conan at suncoast. Doesn't have a lot of POA but the sculpting and paint are AMAZING.

Thanks for the heads up! I really dig the top and bottom one. These would make nice base to upgrade the look. I just hope they are not to expensive for not being able to move them around.

I believe these are currently offered for pre-order through the NECA website. The last actual release projection was for August.

Yeah, I think the bulky look has just kind of been a hallmark of the MOTU series since their '80s heyday. I would have liked to have seen the more recent series by the 4 Horsemen expanded rather than to redesign the series, but I am happy to see the line brought back to life nonetheless. In addition, it looks like He-Man and his buddies will have a considerable amount of articulation which is really a new element for any MOTU series. I was not aware that this new series would also be sculpted by the 4 Horsemen! I'm a huge fan of just about anything they do.

Well I'll be looking forward to seeing some more cool Custom Conans from you!

And speaking of good Custom Conan fodder; did you see the pics of the SDCC Mattel MOTU Exclusive? 4H sculpted it and it looks to be made the same way they make the DCUC figures.

I'm totally psyched! Half naked barbarians sculpted by 4H with DCUC artic. I'm sold!

I don't think that these are going to have much in the way of articulation. But supposedly, Neca had some initial big plans for an extensive line of Conan figures based on both the movie and Robert E. Howard's original version of Conan. I think the plans did involve some highly articulated versions. However, Neca has not been very forthcoming with a lot of information about this line lately, most of what I have read has come from alternative sources. So it is kind of unclear just how extensive this line will be and what other possible characters will be included. Neca was supposed to have Conan pics on their website weeks ago, but these were taken from other sites. I just hope we actually get to see these in production.

Are they going to have any articulation or are they just statues?
