Hey guys. I just discovered this website, and this is my first post. I just got into the action figure thing a few weeks ago, then my dad gave me his iphone 5, and suddenly I'm into action figure photography. I hadn't taken a picture of anything in ten years. I barely have any figures yet, but my collection will be steadily growing. I haven't done any customizing yet, except for some background stuff.
It seems like I missed the heyday of this board. There aren't many posts anymore. But I figured I would post a few photos. Maybe someone will see them.
These are all done no iphone 5, no photoshop.
Daredevil stalking Iron Fist.
Marv from Sin City.
Cap and Hawkeye.
That Red Guy.
Michonne from Walking Dead.
Halo character.
Space Zombies.
Zombie.
And Spidey. That's all for now, thanks.
Three 2012 Imperial rubber animals snacking on some generic 3-3/4" racing figure that I've never been able to identify.
All five of the 2011 McDonald's Spin Master Liv dolls (left-to-right, Sophie, Hayden, Daniela, Alexis, and Katie) on the second floor balcony of the 2003 Fisher Price Loving Family "Classic" Doll House.
Marvel Legends 10 1st Appearance Spider-man, the magnetic wall base that came with the Spider-man (2002) Wave 5 Super Poseable Spider-man, and Venom: The Madness.
The lenticular sticker on the back of the 2006 Carl's Jr. Monster House "House Tricks" marble maze in action.
Bratz Jade wanted a kitten, but I brought her home a leg-humping Laa-Laa Teletubby instead. Jade is no longer speaking to me.
2011 McDonald's Pokémon Black/White Zoroark vs. Zekrom.
Man-E-Faces was a big hit with the kids at the Eternian Easter party (it's a 2005 Hilco Face-changing Easter Rabbit):
A 2005 blue Peeps plush with a box of real Peeps. I like the toy, but I can't stand the candy (the Peeps in the photo aren't mine, I just borrowed them to take the photo).
Close-up of marshmallows being roasted, by Peeps rabbits, in a diorama designed to reflect a scene from Dr. Seuss' Sneetches (I love the pipe cleaner and toothpick bonfire!) I didn't make this, it's from a display at one of the local libraries; you can see more photos here, if you're interested:
2012 Burger King Ring Comb Pinkalicious (I don't have the ring comb) doll with a couple of her books in the library. Pinkalicious is a popular children's book character (created by Victoria Kann) if you've never heard of her.
And here's Pinkalicious' heat-sensistive paint blush in action:
Burger King 1997 Kids Club Gang Planet Patrol Space Commander Jaws with some toy fast food:
The Super Mario Boba Fett one is priceless and I dig the twisty-tie "Spider Sense" effect on Spider-man (it's a wonder more people don't do that with their Spidey customs, as it's relatively easy to add). I do have to point out that Carnage can't directly trigger Spider-man's Spider Sense, because, as a child of Venom, Carnage's symbiote is also immune to detection by it (of course, there IS fire nearby, and fire is dangerous, so you can always say that's what is causing Spidey to tingle).
" Now that my dragons are grown, we will take back what was stolen from me and destroy those who wronged me! We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground! "
drink & drink until u get drunk.....
