im sure lots of you have done spiderman webbing like this but I figured id go ahead and make a how-to anyways.
find some plastic coated wires. the white or clear ones are what you want . start doing drops and threads of glue around it. these wires are a little too big but thats all I had on hand
if you want to do impact webbing or just make web balls ,use a wadded up piece of a paper towl to stick on the wire and then cover wth glue
you can also use a white string or cord for more flexable webs. I use an extra long piece and hold the end of the string in my mouth so I can apply the glue with one hand and using the other hand to spin the string as I glue. this way works geat and makes it go a lot faster
Bravo! I don't venture outside workshop much anymore aside from showcase but every now and then I end up here and DAM! It's good when I get here and see some fine A$$ work like this! Keep it up!
Very nice I can see all kinds of uses for this technique. I always have a hard time remembering to buy hot glue sticks and if I go out specifically to get some I can never find any only hot glue guns with glue in them, I really don't wanna buy a new gun every time I need glue
Keep it up!
