Need help with epaulettes

Posted in Custom Workstation

Working on a DCUC version of Captain Nazi (hope no one is offended) based on this design:

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for the shoulder pad/frills (not sure of the technical name). I'm gonna go to JoAnn Fabrics this weekend and look for any ideas, but thought I'd see if anyone has thoughts on it.

Thanks in advance, hope nobody is offended by the character, but I consider him no worse than Red Skull.

Haha, I just started work on a custom using these, it's Bucky O'hare as you may have seen in the custom workstation, the vintage figure has red and yellow ones just like these, all it took was a little dremmel work. They do hamper the articulation a little but I think you'd have a hard time not. Anyhoo, check out my thread if you wanna see them.

u can use some of that craft foam to try and make some, not sure how well I would work but it would restrict movement

I am pretty sure I saw a DC Direct figure that had them at Target or TRU.

There might be a DC Direct figure with them, but none I can think of right now.

Preferrably something that wouldn't restrict arm movement, so I'm think fabric for the yellow and maybe plastic or sculpting for the red. Just curious if anyone had ideas. Thanks for looking. If anyone knows of a six-inch figure that may have something compatible, I'd love to know.

At least now I know the proper term so I could change the topic header.
