so I just got a new dcuc series 3 robin and frankly im dissapointed in his height he is a great figure with tons of detail but he is way to short! my question I without having to completely redesign the figure whose legs could I swap out? dcuc superboy mabey?
I don't think there a tutorial for it, but how I do it, is I cut off the old peg, then drill a whole through the new one, and a drill a whole into the hip, then put a tiny screw through both of them to hold it together so that it will never break, then I glue the whole thing, so that the screw never comes out. This also works on shoulder pegs, it's a lot of work but it will never break
That's where good old fashioned customizing comes into play It's pretty simple, just but glew and sand, and sometimes sculpt a little to smooth out the transitions (:
I tried the dcsh legs the pieces didn't work the hole for the peg was to big on the dcsh. I've seen people take superboy from the waist down and it works but I can't find him anywhere for less than thirty bucks.
you could give him legs from the old DC Super Heroes Robin but leave the ankles and hips so that you don't loose articulation. I think superboys legs would be to big on a robin.
