Collection or hoarding? and what to do about it?

Custom WorkstationOk guys , hope this doesn't sound crazy ...
I love collecting and customising action figures of all kinds , mainly marvel and shows from the 80s (he-man and such)
but when I`ve been moving house I realised that I have way way to many figures ,
I would buy a figure to display one to keep then one to customise but end up just stopring them in my attic ,
I`ve been thinking about what my options are,
If you make a say custom wolverine that you like better than the factory one do you really need the factory one?
or should you make what you class as your ultimate wolverine then sell/trade all the others ?
Would you keep one factory and one custom then trade/sell the rest?
or keep storing them all ?
I know its a wierd question and I hope you get what I mean it just when you actually look through your fodder boxes and see 7 or 8 of the same figure you bought for its accessorie or baf part and realise there is no need for it .

Please wait...

Military on eBay
Did you just keep the original 4 and the custom versions then let the rest go?
Is it easier to trade or sell the figures ?
like I said its mainly ML figures and 80`s toys
Would it be best trying them on the trade list then if that doesn't work out them on the bay?
I keapt all the sets I had, like the neca set, both movie sets, the originall four and a bunch of others, but I got wrid of all the crappy wacky action turtles and things like that. As for trading or selling I suggest selling because if you trade you end up with just as many figures as you had before
