Problem with paint

Posted in Custom Workstation

So I did this custom a while back. Just a simple repaint on a toybiz marvel legend. I repainted the whole thing, well, poorly. So I would now like to remove the paint used to repaint the figure, but keep the original paint of the figure. Is there any way I can do this? I've heard of using rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, and scraping the paint off. I'm afraid that any of these methods will remove the original paint though. Any help please?

Acetone will do it, but not sure about the original paint. It's raw stuff to use and you what to do this outdoors. But hold off, someone might have a better idea.

FYI: I noticed that you are looking for a MS Hawkeye. Shapp just added one to his trades at "Marvel Select, Marvel Legends, and Marvel Universe". I hope that helps you out some.
