need help attaching a head

I am pretty new to customizing and I'm trying to complete my second custom for the realm, Tigershark. for this custom I'm using the SMC classics stealth venom as the base with a sanded down head of ML3 wolverine. When I bought the base I didn't realize the head was rubber and there was that stupid neck thing so I am now trying to dremel down the neck piece but I am still unsure of what to fully do. Should I keep dremeling down? should I try to make a hole for ball joint of the head? or use sculpt? Please, I would really appreciate if someone gave me advice. I will upload photos if I find out how to.

Easiest thing to do is dremel out a big enough hole into the head. Then shot a little hot glue in there and pop that bad boy onto the neck peg. You can do the same with sculpt, but it's a little trickier.
