Figures ML have NOT made!!

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I may be a little dumb here, but in case I have missed them, here is a list of figures I can not believe have not been made into Marvel Legends!!

Chameleon!! This guy is a major Spiderman villain!! Unbelievable that we have Man Wolf, Beetle, Hydroman, but no Chammy!!

Sauron: How many times did the X Men have to battle this guy???

Dazzler! At one point a focal character in the X men tales.

Medusa> Everyone's favourite hirsuite lady, and an ex member of the Fantastic Four!!

Gladiator. What a brilliant character. Fundamental in the battle with Phoenix also.

Black Tom Cassidy. Juggy's best pal. Where the heck is he?

The Reavers! Fantastic characters, and would make stunning figures!

Firelord. A herald to Galactus, and an important Marvel character.

Corsair. Starjammer extraordinairre!

I would too, my friend, but symbiotes are a thing left in the 90s. Right now, 90s comics are cool to hate on. Not me, I love me some 90s comics, but a good portion of collectors have this attitude now. It's due to the bad stigma attached to the crash of the comic collector's market in the 90s.

Due to all that, I'm thinking the only symbiote we see released for a while is Venom.

Oh, and if you guys love symbiotes, check this out, nice list:

I don't really consider SMC MLs, and that phage was Xenophage. I'm talking about the symbiote Phage (Carl Mach).

Theres a carnage in the TBML spidey foes boxset and one in the earlier TBML Spidey classics (same figure pretty much).

And Phage was in the "Along Came A Spider" series long ago, But a new one would be awesome.

I keep finding tons of great pre-legends figures and sets I never even knew existed looking around online (Check out Marvel Greatest Battles 2-packs!), ToyBiz was so good with pumping out the figs back in the day.

They should make a line entirely devoted to Symbiotes, it should be

-Venom
-Carnage
-Anti-Venom
-Toxin (skinny one not but bulky one)
-Hybrid (we need a better one)
-Lasher (we need a better one, but could live without one for a while, his current one is pretty good)
-Spider-Carnage (better poseability but keep the translucent red)
-Scream
-Riot (the one from the comics, not that bug thingy)
-Agony
-Phage (this guy would makea badass HML)

Keep in mind that with the exception of Venom and Carnage, everyone below Scream never had their own figure, and everyone above her only had one, Hybrid, Lasher, Spider-Carnage, and Scream only had one in the Venom toyline form over 10 years ago, Toxin had one that really sucked in SMC, and Anti-Venom would look good in HML form, I'm still shocked ML never made Venom or Carnage

If Hasbro read this list, they have the next wave pretty much.

The same characters keep cropping up in all the threads...

Polaris, Enchantress, Winter Soldier, Sauron, Aurora ,Northstar , Puck, Modern Luke Cage. These are names which keep cropping up in the wants

(sure Nova and Black Bolt were in there, bu tthey gave us thosde two!).

I think the realm should be responsible for the next wave!!!

scarlet_magpie, you're very right , but there is a Marvel Select Thanos pretty good. The choices are usually the most famous, but a lot of the non-famous figures they make are of the worst, and less important. I think the most discriminate series is Thor, they only have made 3 Thor's, Beta Ray Bill and Loki! where is Odin, Balder, Hogun, Sif, Enchantress, Kurse, etc????

And the worst it doesn't seem that is gonna change.....

Wasent there like 3 vengence Figures made by toybiz 1 from the 90s ghostrider series toyline The Marvel Legends Version & The Ghostrider Movie Version. Also the 90s toyline had a 10' vengence and a box version w/ his bike so they had Like 5 vengence figures Produced .

when I said toybiz I ment marvel legends when toybiz had them....

OK Right On !

I beg to differ about Chameleon, Warpath, Puppet Master, Arcade, Polaris and Sauron. They were all major characters, even without their own title.
Iceman never had his own book (as far as I know), but he is considered a major.
I just don't think anyone needs another venom, punisher, "hurricane kick water mission stealth ninja" spidey , wolvie or human torch......

None of those characters have even had one-shots or mini-series, let alone their own series, except Iceman. Who I'm pretty sure DOES have a ML figure. How do you figure the rest are major characters? Because they had 90s X-Men figures?

I don't want to see Spider-Man version 176 either. I'm just saying before some major cheezers like Arcade and Sauron get made, we need to see some bigger guys still. I'd LOVE to get my hands on an Iron Patriot figure or a Bucky-Captain America.

I agree with you. I have Cable, Domino and Cannonball, but no Shatterstar, Siryn. Boomer or Wolfsbane.
I have loads of X men character...I have X-23, but I do not have Polaris?? Eh??
I have Magneto,Sabretooth, Pyro, Blob,Toad and Mystique, but I don't have (proper) Avalanche and Destiny.
I have Vindicator and Sasquatch, but no Aurora, Northstar, Puck or Snowbird.....
We have Man -Wolf, X 23, Buzzing Beetle, Beta Ray Bill, Toxin, 1940's Cap, Silver Savage, Man Spider, Spider-Hulk, Ultimate Rhino and Deathlok, but no Thanos, Mephisto, Puppet Master, Mastermind, Modern Zemo, Dazzler, Enchantress, Polaris, Winter Soldier, Chameleon or Sauron!!

I just don't understand the choice process. I mean, Marvel comics have already provided all the toy manufacturers with ready made "box set" fodder: Wrecking crew, X Force, New Mutants, New Warriors, Imperial Guard, Savage Lands (Sauron should have been in that!), Age of Apocalypse, Asgard, Atlantis, Midnight Sons, Inhumans, the list is endless...
But instead we get these "one offs" and continue to see the same old re-hashed figures warming the pegs .
I never thought I would defend Hasbro, as I hated their figures when they came out, but I have to take my hat off to them for Releasing Nova, Black Bolt (but now we need the rest of them!), KANG! Adam Warlock and Hercules, but each wave, we are seeing more and more of the same figures. How many Wolverines do I have to buy to get one of the character mentioned above?

That pre marvel Deathlok was really horrible. I'am in favour of the low importance figures, considering they are cool enough. Beta Ray Bill and Deathlok I don't care too much for them, I have Deathlok.

But there are lots of characters (some importants too) that need to be done. Before making Lady Bullseye, they should have made for example Enchantress, or any other important Thor character. Also they make characters belonging to a group and they don't do the complete group. I really don't know why they choose one figure and not another, perhaps personal choice of the guy in charge? alineation of planets?

Thursday, July 9, 2009
I agree I don't see fans calling for either.

With Deathlok does anyone remember the Marvel Toybiz series from the early 90's they made a Deathlok and that darn thing sat on the peg for 3+ years, a local KB around here had something were you bought anything Marvel/ToyBiz and you got the Deathlok for free. People still turned down the Deathlok....

Toy Biz made about 3 Ghost Riders in the Ghost Rider line in the 90s (not counting the 12 inch ones), and I believe 2 out of 3 are Danny Ketch. I could be wrong though. I want to see a Danny Ketch ML, too, and while on the subject why not a Vengeance ML one too. But Johnny Blaze is now using Danny's costume, so if they made either one now you couldn't tell the difference.

Darkhawk would be sweet as hell! Any figures with wings are usually cool, Archangel and Hawkman figures always rule, but Darkhawk's armor makes him that much cooler!

You know that the comic was based off of his toy, right? It's old, but you can find him on EBay probably. And for that same reason, Marvel no longer has any rights to ROM. They can use his gun, they can use the other Spaceknights, but not ROM himself anymore.

I'd love to get a Dazzler too. They should make sets of the x-men throughout the 80s since that's when the book was at its best. THat way they can make all the characters they haven't bothered with and I bet it would sell.

Everyone named so far are B or even C-Listers. The only one up that that even had a title of their own is Dazzler, and that book fizzled out fast. That's why they were never made, I'm thinking. Why make a She-Thing figure when you can make a Venom or Magneto figure that is sure to sell?
