DCUC Orion screw up

Buzzy Fret's sinestro had a malfunction and his right arm broke off!

I am the one who got the messed up Firestorm with the 2 right legs and I got a $10 rebate for my troubles, yeah the lady was nice and told me that Mattel did not sell the DC Universe figures in my area....Hmm kinda strange since the Kmart had a whole bunch there...oh well, at least you and I got our money back for the figure.
Anybody else out there got horror stories of messed up DC Universe figures they have purchased? Let it all out, I bet you will feel better if you do.

yeah, and they whole lead paint recall thing was from a mattel product. I think the 4HM couldn't signed with a better company.

I read that they were made with a little more of a curve to accomodate putting on his Astro Harness so they look a little funky when Orion is posed standing erect.

I traded a Firestorm to Kyle and he PM'd me that it had 2 right arms! I had barely looked at it while it was in my possession and didn't notice it. Funny thing is I had gotten that FS when I took another FS back because it's right arm was broke right at the elbow joint when it was packaged.

Mattel has stated that they changed manufacturers in China this summer due to a lot of QC issues. That's also the reason for the long delay in seeing DCUC 3 and the last run on DCUC 2 with the Firestorm variant.

Business Days = the days you can get new mail on, meaning everyday but sundays and national holidays

ok, so here's the dealio: they're going to send my some kinda piece of paper that'll be worth $10.00 on a new Mattel product. the lady was nice. I'm pretty sure she had already handled something like this before, only with not such a chipper and young customer as myself. so, 7-10 business days I should expect my paper thingy and hopefully I can find a new, good orion.

really? I should've looked at the others before I bought the one I did. damnit!!! well, I'm still calling.

and doc, are you sure it's the right way? look closely, cause the calves on my orion are identical, not like, right and left.

I think that happened to all Orion's that's why I am hesitant in buying him right now...Good luck though, update us in how it goes.
