I don't own or have access to any revoltech and I was thinking of buying some joints for customs from this place http://castingcave.ecrater.com/c/1678487/6-scale-misc but wasn't sure which ones to buy. What size do you guys think would be the right size for adding double elbow joints to 6 male figures, and what size would be good for double knee joints. I also was curios on the same joints for female figures and what size would be good for wrist joints on figures.
Thank you very much for the reply, it helps a lot! I've ordered from this guy before and he does very good work! I know he does good work, it's not a question of his skill. Casted revoltech joints tend to break a lot in my experience. Though I've never tried his, they might not have any issues. Let us know if they work out.
The 8mm or the 10mm depending on how beefy the arm is. The 5, 6, and 7 are better for wrists or female arms. Before you order ask if the joints still make the ratchet sound when they are moved. If they don't it could be a sign that you'll have breakage issues, but it all depends on the type of resin they are casting with. I played around with castin some revoltech joints but none of the Smooth On resins I had on hand could handle the torque.
