I'm not sure how well the Army of Darkness Deadite would work but the head may be useful.

Again, something else I spaced on... Neca had a pack in with Freddy in the cinema of fear line that was a skeleton with an evil expression!

Oh, by the bye, the generic ones can by cut with an exacto, drill some small holes, and something as simple as a paper clip can be used for artic.

Generic Bag of Skeletons-Walmart (I've used these for display and they are great minus a bad head sculpt but you can get a cast of a skull or use a DCD Deadman, DCUC Negative Man, ML Red Skull, modded Skeletor, etc.

You'd have to cut/pull a lot of crap off of him to get the bare bones looks (and you'd probably have to find or make him some skeletal feet to replace the boots), but this might work:
