thor repair?

I have a giant man series thor I found at a flea market for a dollar and upon disassemble of the figure for a custom I noticed that the waist and abdominal part were glued together, when I finally got them apart I saw that the waist peg or joint piece was missing, any ideas on how to fix this lmk thanks guys

I thought of the screw and magnet but I was wondering if anyone knew of another figure that had the same waist peg that I could substitute for the old one also I noticed that the top of the peg is still in the ab part but the bottom half of the peg that goes in the waist is missing and broken off thanks for the help guys if u have any more ideas lmk thanks

Magnets or a large screw /bolt secured into the bottom part would do the trick.
