Pyramid Head from silent hill 2

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey guys/girls I am not only new to this forum but I am also relatively new to customizing. I am making a 1/6 scale pyramid head using a Marvel icons Dare Devil as the base and figured I would sculpt the rest using milliput epoxy puddy. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to sculpt the head I.E. do I use a wire frame or cardboard or do I just build up a crap-ton of puddy on his head? I was also wondering what materials to use for his apron, anyway whatever advice youse guys can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'd make the head hollow if I were you, otherwise the weight of a solid head will make posing/standing the figure difficult. When I made a Pyramid Head, many years ago, I used cardboard, but any kind of thin rigid material should work. You can then add any sculpted details you want on top of that.

As your figure is sixth-scale, I'd go with actual fabric for the apron. You could probably repurpose a doll's white dress for that--just cut it down to an apron and smear blood/grime on it. Or, if you know how to sew, make your own, as aprons are pretty simple in form.

It's kind of crappy, but here's the one I made, completely from scratch, around a decade ago (it's about 8 inches high):
