I have a relatively valuable imperial dragon that someone spray painted gold. Are there any solvents that are designed specifically to remove spray paint that might help me restore him to his previous glory?

Soaking the figure in 91% alcohol should remove any spray paint and gunk. Overnight soak and if that doesn't do it step up with Chameleon scale hobby paint remover.
