belt issues.

So im working with a dcuc batman figure and I want to replace his belt with a dc direct batman figure's belt. My problem is when I removed the belt there is a gap between the crotch and lower torso. Is there a way to fill this in without dismembering the whole figure?

that gap can easaly be filled with clay,
