Coloring Hot Glue

Posted in Custom Workstation

I was looking to use hot glue to make some pool of water but also wanted to color it while keeping it clear (kinda like Green Lantern constructs). Is there special paints or tricks to achieve this?

I agree with Pock63. It seems like most customizers use an ink wash on hot glue to color it, but transparent paint should do the trick too.

I think I tried to mix some paint into the hot glue itself one time, years ago, while it was still hot and viscous, but I don't remember that working out very well.

Almost every brand of model paint has atliest a small selection of translucent paint colors. You can also make translucent colors using sharpies and some other kinds of ink,
