Base figure suggestions

So I just finished my first custom which was Saddlesore from Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa. I have multiple projests already started including Malory from Mighty Ducks the Animated series which I'm using Mattel's Tamina Snuka as a base. My question is which figure or figures would make a good base for Grin (Mighty Ducks) who is much larger than Malory.
