Protecting Hands

Hey I usually don't have this issue come up but just foresee it happening with a project we are mapping out but how do you make sure weapons don't peel the paint off the hands if they are a snug fit?

You could also try widening the hands' grip a bit with the hot/cold water trick so that the fit isn't quite as tight.

If it's a really snug fit, I'd probably make the holes a little bigger then paint, glue shield then seal. You might get away with jus painting glueing and sealing though.
