Removing Play Arts Kai body parts?

Hey guys. I'm looking to do a little combining of figures using play arts kai figures. I know their joints are quit different than marvel select, revoltech, and other figure lines. Has anyone tried this or have any tips on how to remove these joints without damaging the figures?

Videos or pictures even would be greatly appreciated as well if anyone has any.
