Can I boil a head after it is painted????

Posted in Custom Workstation

Can I use the boil n pop method on a head that has been painted and fully cured? I want sure if it will ruin the paint job or if when cured the paint will hold up. Thank you very for any and all input you might have. I look forward to the responses.

Hahahahahaha, that's the auto correct on my phone dude

I wouldn't dream of anything less than a romantic meal and a stroll along the beach first

Whoa whoa, free skin? You at least have to buy me dinner first.

you'd be better off using a hairdryer to heat it up, especially if the head is already off. It allows a bit more accuracy so you only heat the part you need to. Like free skin said though, it's very easy to get it wrong and fudge the paint work.

Yes and no. It is possible, but it is very easy to mess up the paint while your doing it. Just be very carefully where you grip the head at, if you can pop it off from below thats even better.
