Safe Detail Paint Removal on 6" figures or smaller

I'm purchasing the S.H. FIguarts Gohan, a reissue that is based on the originally released manga colors, no the anime colors from the exclusive released 2 years ago.

There are these tiny scuff marks under the eyes, intended to indicate cheeks, but with how it is done, it can potentially look off. I am highly considering removing it, but since it's close to the eye, I don't just want to use a q-tip to dab at it, risking touching the paint of the eye while still getting all the possible paint removed.

Are there super delicate ways to remove paint from specific spots on a figure without removing the paint in the surrounding areas? Thanks!
