Avoiding paint rub on an ab crunch and butterfly joint

okay so I need some help, Im making a tim drake robin (one year later) using a bullseye base. I am using citadel games work shop paints but am having difficulty with paint rub on the ab crunch as well as the butterfly shouder joint yet nowhere else on the figure as I have trimmed the joints. any tips?
