Suggestions on making Marvel's Shatterstar's swords

Greetings!

I was hoping someone with extensive weapon or accessories making experience could suggest how to make Shatterstar's doubled-bladed swords (katana style) with each of the blades o one hilt being made of metal?

It's VERY similar to the pre-Marvel Legends's X-Men style sword that ninja Wolverine had but not casted with plastics and Shatterstar wielding 2 as he does in the comics? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also want to create a variety of ninja weapons from spears, kama's, a Kama with a chain and weight attached as well as other weapons yielded by ninja for some costume projects on 1- of-a-kind characters I am creating figures and story-background & content for in the 6 to 7 inch action figure scale.
