What up homies and home girls Im back fresh from the NY comic com and I got the biiizzznaazzz on the new toy line from the 4 horse men, and here it is
THE REAL GHOST BUSTERS
There is gonna be 3 different types or lines from what I could understand, theres the 12 inch figures the 6 inch which is the one you see without the paint and the last one is 12 inch figures with cloth clothes like old school gi joes, I thought these were bad a$$, what you think or did you guys know already and Im late with the news.
I'm not seeing it. Stantz hair is puffy in the other figure, it's slicked back with the goggled one. The goggled one's face is also longer looking.
-Nate- You can make out a "z" at the end of his name tag in this picture:
Well, I guess you're right. He doesn't really look like Bill Murray or Dan Akroyd though. Must be legal issues, because those are damn detailed otherwise.
Plus the cloth one looks a lot more like Dan Akroyd than Bill Murray.
Also, the 12" (non-cloth uniform) ones are the 2-ups of the 6" line, since they're not doing two 12" lines and figures that they have on display at comic-cons are usually 2-ups
Bill Murray has always been anal about his likeness being used...They have been throwing this and Caddyshack at him for years...Also why NECA did only villians in their GB run of Figures
Yeah...whoever decides to cast those heads will make some nice money, that way you only have to buy 1 figure and just have interchangeable heads if you don't want to buy 3 expensive figures
They look amazing but the price tag will be far too high considering they are recycling one body for the whole line and there is no Winston...But the real question lies in if they have plans for Rick Moranis or Annie Potts?...
too bad they're just going to be a Matty.com exclusive line. if the 6" figures are in scale with DCUC they would've made for cool fodder but being exclusives to Mattel's online store they'll be too expensive.
thats fah king dope right!! can't wait
heres some more pics I took at the NYCC
