I keep forgetting to look in the phone book to see if there is a company who carries the supplies I need instead of paying $10 in shipping when I can grab it. The local craft shop has every casting material but what I need.
I'm going to keep an eye on your stuff to see how its done. I'm not all that sure of how to do smaller stuff. some of my bigger ideas'll be made from wood and styrene as they're cheaper than clay (mostly for my tranformer parts and such).
im honing my scuplting skills as we speak. I have thought about casting weapons annd fodder, but that would take a lot of time and money. well see how these sale befor I dive into something like that.
I was talking to my buddy about doing this kind of thing but making replacement weapons and parts for transformers and new weapons/accessories and even figures. I have designs and he has the toys for measurements just I can't sculpt. I'd definetly buy some stuff though.
im currently layed off, so that is kind of what im going for. start my own parts store or something. I can see what you are saying about the fun ending...
tell me about it. I just dropped 80 for 2 lbs of supplies. I wish there was a place nearby to get it, it would save $10 shipping. most of my stuff is turning out, I just get careless I think.
im gonna sell bags of skulls. I need a few more originals though.
casting is an art. my first attempt was an epic failure. the material is not cheep either.
I would. If the prices are fair I don't see why they wouldn't sell. Heck you could sell those skulls for custom ghost rider figures. A lot of people have to use the ones for model kits and they're out of scale. I've thought about it too, mostly like generic walls that people can customize. You're way better at casting than I am.
I will let you know when they get here...
I have an idea for an alien dio that would blow your mind...
thanks
I don't know what prices will be yet.
