I hate to say it...but the comic shop I've been to, Acme Comics in Sarasota florida has 100xs the amount of figures as that place in the pics. Seriously. It's like a con contained in a single shop. They have like every figure from every line ever. Just rows and rows and rows of them.
Don't forget Bennie's in Sharon, Shinobitron. I think that's about it anymore. Wasn't there another in Grove City? It must be them that packaged back issues and sold them to Ollie's in New Castle.
we have or had another about 30minutes away that would sell their comics in bundles to a local discount store. there's more than a few in pittsburgh. the closest to this store is Eides in downtown Pitt.
Dang, did this guy sell his soul for all those figures, statues, and busts. that makes my comic-book shop look like a garage filled with comic-based collectibles.
holy crap. our local comic show is only slightly bigger than my bedroom. it might be 12' wide by about maybe 40' long. Not sure if its still packed full of stuff or not, sadly never had many toys but a lot of trading cards.
yes and no. there are some things you can find cheap, but its still a little over retail.
this is because the owner of the comic shop doesn't know hardly anything about his own product. so if you're looking to have a decent conversation about the comics of figure's you've just bought, don't go to this place. but then again, there is this one guy who helps me find back issues all the time... but I think he's kinda "special" (for lake of a better word) so he doesn't talk much.
I have Huntress from the Batman: Hush line still in the package. If you had something else I wanted in package, we might be able to work something out. I'm into DC and Marvel figures. Message me.
yep now you guys know of it's insaneness. I try to go there like, every other weekend. I'm about a 10 minute drive away. the glass showcases are the place to look though. usually chock-full of loose ML figs. there's also a whole other WALL of MOC marvel legends. that's right. a whole WALL. not to mention a whole isle of back issues and graphic novels.
yeah, everytime I go there, I'm there over an hour just looking around. bad thing is its over an hour drive away, so I only get there once or twice a month.
I don't mind paying over retail cause it supports my local business!

Mind you I'm moving back home in 2 months when school is out I'll have better pickins.
Still I'm pretty lucky to even find a comic book store out here and it's covenient to get to.

Man, this place has a tooooooooonnn of figs. Of the 8 or 9 shops I have near me, all of the figs combined do not amount to this awesomeness.
