Ill give you some advice( I've done about 500 trades between here and a few other sites and only been ripped off once). Check people out! I had the other guy cancel because I asked when he was sending(he's got good feedback but I wouldn't trade with him only because I didn't think he was going to). Get all the terms of the deal worked out before you ship and don't hesitate to leave negitive feedback if they don't honor their word( I had a ship at the same time trade that turned into they recive and ship after my stuff was in the mail- that was here and if I remembered who it was I would let you know) but mainly, if you don't feel good about it don't do it!
Oh, and while we are talking advice, it is a lot better to just have one trading thread, which yo update as your items/wants come and go, instead of several different threads. Not only is it more considerate to other board users (a lot of threads from the same person can shove other people's down the page) but you can link your trade thread into your signature so everyone can always find your stuff whenever you post!!
Oh, and one last tip... always ask where you are going to be shipping to!! I live in the UK and a couple of people have had nasty surprises when it comes to the post office rates for international!!
Be polite and friendly and laugh at yamivash's jokes and you will find everyone on here helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy pretty much.
My collection is about 80 percent from trades on here!!
Thats true - we don't have a lot of people to watch for on this forum. There are a lot of good folks on here. Anyone who's reputable should have their feedback listed here so you can always check up on 'em.
Check the master feedback list at the top of this page. Fortunately, we have very few bad traders and the ones who occasionally do show up aren't around long. Ask who the have already traded with. Also, if you aren't sure, just ask them to send first. If they are genuine, they won't mind. Although, they could ask you the same.
