I personally like the Art Asylum figures from a few years ago. They were very close appearance wise to th actual casts. I also like the Star trek II the Wrath of Khan figures that were produced last year even though a lot of them were convention exclusives. There is a Star Trek the Motion picure line coming out alslo but the drawback is that they are using the same heads as the WOK figures.
I liked the 90s lines the best. They had poor articulation, but looked closest to actual characters. And the cards they were on always had some cool ship in the background like the Enterprise-D, a Klingon Cruiser, Voyager, or a Borg Cube.
