I wasn't I love Hasbro I have said many times a lot of there joints look a lot more natural and there figures really give me that comic book feel. I am a HUGE Hasbro Fanboy since hasbro has had Marvel legends there hasnt been any that I really wanted that I couldn't find/afford.

Don't bash hasbro. They're one of the most reliable companies in the toy market these days...in fact THE most reliable toy company. Would you rather he be on matty collector and cost you 30 bones just because those criminals know they CAN charge that for their MOTU figures due to fan demand? I'm sorry but hasbro gives me a constant supply of product that I want to buy.

2 of the three winners are characters that already have ML figures.......... I want new characters. granted, the characters do look better than the old ones. but still....

for those of you who have not seen, winners are (in this order) deadpool, valkyrie, and black widow.

I wouldn't mind a Green Hulk BAF using the same molds as the Red Hulk (with a unique head-sculpt). However, I agree with you about the Wolverine. I understand the need for sure-fire selling figures, but as long as the figure looks interesting, their little-kid-impulse-buy market quote will be filled.

In that vein, it would make sense to produce a Dakkin (sp?) figure instead. Little kids would have a wolverine, and collectors could both be satisfied.

The 2 I didn't care for was hulk and wolverine. Though hulk looked good, there's been a lot of him, with his own
line even. And wolverine, 90% of the ml series have had one in it. He's been made too often which takes the fun out of getting him and most have been repaints

I was very happy with what I saw. I liked all of the figures. I have a good feeling about us seeing another DP in plastic form.

I realized the other day that I've been using DCUC figures as base-figs more often than ML parts. Anything ML related I do is using my old ToyBiz figures for fodder parts.

ML's did have the real world/gritty detail-sculpt down a lot better than DCUC figures do though. It's hard to make a non-Ed McGuinnis-esk figure using a DC Universe toy body - they're just too damn iconic looking.

Hasbro needs to get their heads out of their butts. All they're managing to phase out is ML collectors who are going to DC for base figures now for customs. When their stocks plummet like a rock they'll figure it out.

I'm really disapointed with the cheaper, softer plastic that they're going with for the recent HML figure waves. I understand the financial reason behind it (a 1-mold cast piece makes a forearm, instead of a 2-part one of harder plastic) -- but common.... When the final production piece looks like it's made of melted wax (complete with waxy sheen), you're effecting your bottom line in other negative ways.

I still have high hopes for new ML 6" scale figures - particularly since I heard Hasbro was phasing them out due to production costs and going with the 3 3/4" scale exclusively. I guess that particular rumor was (happily) false.

I wanna take a hammer to deadpool >.< They need to start making more female figures instead of the same lame characters. On top of it all the figures in the pics'll look like crap in the final production since they're being remade:/

An interesting account from Jin Saotome about these new Marvel Legends pictured in this thread:

Found here:

It's funny, as I observed in an earlier post that I these new ML's looked a lot like kit-based customs. It seems I wasn't too far off the mark!

agreed! I like most of them and from the customizer perspective, a variety of them are perfect for bases and parts

why do they torture us like this? why not make ALL of these in different waves over time? why do we have to pick 3 of them?!?

according to the hasbro panel yesterday, those are just moc ups. they may resculpt before releasing the final figures.

they also said they are going to stick to two-packs for a while, and if they sell well, they will continue the line.

socustomizers, buy up , please.

okay going through em some more now, and I have to say the reusing of parts really went overboard here.

I'll still get the deadpool and maybe a couple other figures but that's it.

hmph

I don't care what anyone else says, these friggin rock.

they need to make all of em, I'll buy doubles.

althooooough, hasbro does have a history of making great prototypes but crappy figures.

and horrible distribution.

but the pix look great

This time he looks good. We all said union Jack and Black spidey from the RULK series looked good as a base for deadpool. I like the head they made, and the belt, but I really want that harness and sheaths!!!!!

Toybiz did do a 6" Dead Pool. I don't really see what's so bloody amazing about him. I mean really it's just another Dead Pool.

Really this only lowers the relevance of the old one, making him less necessary. Hasbro only noticed that Union Jack and Moon Night make a good dead pool, thus Moon Jack... I mean New Pool.

I can't wait for them to release even better customs of original characters, like GamPoolVerine

I would kill to get a GOOLD Deadpool figure. It's a shame Toy Biz didn't make one because I fthey had I have no doupt that it would have been amazing just like the wrest of there Marvel Legends.

lol I can see it now, people rushing to the store to get the new deadpool figure, adults beating up small children to get a hold of him, thus the child can't get one and the whole cycle of making deadpools start over again, I suppose this is how a lot of people got into customizing except maybe with out the beating up a kid for an action figure

I think they will all come out sooner or later. my feeling is fans pick the two packs and the next lines will be the remainder. 19 unveiled figures. 3 two packs, then a line of six and a line of seven.

I feel nervous saying this, but I get the feeling hasbro is learning from their mistakes (knock on wood). no exclusives, new desired characters, only two complete retreads (wolverine and hulk), new deadpool, viable bi-beast, very nice black widow and ms. marvel.

it is also nice to see how many lines they span. the x-books, avengers, marvel knights, thor, hulk, iron man (two packs) and spider-man.

Wewt, More pics:
http://www.actionfigurepics.com/
I voted for that Black Widow, Something about it is awesome + It shares mostly the same parts as EVERY OTHER female char.
Seems like hasbro is only willing to do "New" Head Molds nowadays.

BTW, That DCUC Chemo BAF is pure awesome.
I don't even collect DCUC/DC Stuff and I may have to buy all the figs just for that.
It even has great artic for such an odd shaped char (TAKE NOTES HASBRO).

I don't see why they just don't make them all as the next line instead of being cheapskates. They're not gonna win points with fans/collectors any other way. I like the Black widow personally. They need to make more female characters.
